Eco-Policy

Coronation Lodge & its staff are dedicated to reducing the impact our business has on the environment with numerous Environmentally Friendly initiatives in place:

 

  • We offer a discounted “Un-Serviced” room rate to guests who wish not to have their room cleaned daily (minimum stay applies)

  • Alternatively if you book our standard room rate there is a “GOING GREEN” option if you prefer not to have your room serviced at any time during your stay

  • There are recycling bins in all Guest Rooms

  • We use New Zealand made Natural Earth range Body Wash, Shampoo, Conditioner and Hand Soap which are all in dispensers eliminating unnecessary wastage

  • We stock Health Pak ONE Fairtrade Tea and Coffee Range

  • Our Plunger Coffee is Three Lamas Fair Trade

  • Fresh milk is provided in reusable glass bottles

  • We source New Zealand made cleaning products that are biodegradable and not tested on animals

  • Where possible we buy in bulk to eliminate wasteful packaging 

  • There is an outside clothes line so clothes can be air dried
